Computer Science Engineering
Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the college was established in year 1994 with intake of 60 students. Two postgraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering and Software Engineering were started in the year 2004 and 2007 respectively.
Currently the department has an intake of 180 at undergraduate level and 24 at postgraduate level (M.Tech, CSE). Since its inception the department has always been recognized for excellence in teaching and outstanding students’ performance at global level and for the excellent placement record in various international/national companies. All over the world, the alumni of the department occupy top positions in IT industries like Google, Sun Microsystem, Yahoo, Cisco, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro and many more.
Department provides an ambient teaching learning environment for its students through qualified, experienced faculty and smart classroom facility. The course structure is as per RGPV, Bhopal and includes courses on nascent topics to equip our students with the latest developments in Computer Science Engineering to bridge the gap with the industry.

PEO1:
To prepare graduates with a strong foundation in Computer Science and Engineering, enabling them to apply core knowledge effectively in software analysis, design, sustainable development and cost-effective solutions.
PEO2:
To prepare graduates for successful careers in the software industry, academia, public and private sectors, as well as for higher studies and entrepreneurial ventures.
PEO3:
To prepare graduates to analyze and solve real-world problems in Computer Science and Engineering using engineering tools, latest techniques, and modern skills, considering industrial, societal, and environmental contexts.
PEO4:
To prepare graduates to demonstrate professionalism, ethical conduct, effective communication skills, leadership, teamwork, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)
A graduate of the Computer Science and Engineering Program will develop:
PSO1:
An ability to demonstrate strong foundational and applied knowledge of core Computer Science and Engineering subjects such as Data Structures, Database Management Systems, Software Engineering, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, and emerging areas including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
PSO2:
An ability to design, develop, and deploy efficient, secure, and sustainable software solutions using Computer Science principles, modern programming practices, emerging technologies, open-source platforms, and contemporary tools and techniques.
PSO3:
An ability to employ assimilated learning and knowledge from curricular and co-curricular courses to analyze and solve complex engineering problems in domains such as web and mobile application development, database management systems, cyber security, and AI applications, while exhibiting professional ethics and social responsibility.
